This is one happy baby. Jae Anna is evidently what people call a "juicy" baby or a "chunky monkey". That is what we hear everywhere we go. She's a good eater and her pediatrician says she's healthy. She just started on rice cereal yesterday and loved it. A few days ago, she started blowing air through her tight lips and making funny noises. She spends a good bit of her day amusing herself this way. We have to be careful to get too close, though, because we'll get a spitty blow in the face.
My mom came last Saturday and spent a few days with us. Then Jae Anna, my mom and I left out Tuesday for Albany. We didn't get very far before we had engine trouble. Tim picked us up and we went car shopping after the mechanic informed us of how much it would be to repair. So we're rolling in a new Honda Odyssey. I feel much safer on the road now. And it's much easier getting to the back seat with Jae Anna when needed.
