ME DO IT

Every time my Mommy or Daddy try to do things for me, I tell them "ME DO IT". They think I'm still a baby... So I have to teach them that I can do things for myself. I don't like to be helped into my car-seat. I can do it! I don't like to be helped buckling my seat belt, either. I can't really do it, but I like to try. In the mornings when I sit on the big potty, my Mommy always tries to pick me up and put me on it, but I CAN DO IT! I just need her to put the stool up to the side of the potty so I can climb up.

I have done #2 in the potty for two days! One time in the big potty and one time in my little potty. I only peed in my diaper when we drove to Chick-fil-A yesterday. Mommy let me run around bare-bottomed all day. I brought my little potty into the living room and whenever felt like peeing, I'd just pee in my little potty and then cheer for myself.

The Miller-Hall Arkansas Adventure

My Granny and Gramps celebrated their 40th at my house last week. My cousins, aunts, and uncles came from Georgia for a BIG family get-together. We made signs and everyone went to the airport to welcome Granny and Gramps when they arrived. It would have been more fun if I weren’t sick and if didn’t throw up in the van on the way home from the airport. But I think the fruity snacks that Daddy fed me earlier in the day gave the van a sweet fruity aroma that kept everyone from being too repulsed. Well… except for Granny who moved to Uncle Red’s car when Daddy swerved to the side of the road to examine the damage. A couple days later, my temperature broke and I was ready to run with the big kids.

The highlights of our time together were:

Ice-skating. Yes! I got to ice skate, too….with a little help from my Daddy.

An evening home with just us kids while all the grown-ups went out to a “grown-up dinner”. No one lost any fingers or toes and the house did not even burn to the ground, thanks to Ellie, Miriam and Ramsay who were in charge.

Fireworks at Pinnacle Hills. They were fab-u-lous!!

Church. It must have been a miracle how all 15 of us managed to make it to the 9:30 morning service. This is amazing since my Mom and Dad are almost always either late or end up going to the 11 am. And even at the 11am, we’re late.

Swimming with the whole family at the Jones Center. Everyone went down the big yellow slide a gazillion times except for Jax. Jax cried. You should have seen my Granny and Gramps, though! They were the coolest. Granny couldn’t slide down without squealing the whole way down and then she’d go back for more!

It was a fun-filled four days. I sure miss everyone already.
