Mysterious Feathered Creature
I came home from grocery shopping with Mommy yesterday afternoon to discover a mysterious feathered thing on the bar. I spotted it as I was walking through the living room, minding my own. I stopped to watch it and it started wiggling! I ran as quickly as I could around the bar and into the kitchen to tell Mommy. She listened intensly, but she was busy putting groceries away and couldn't come look. I walked back around the bar to see if it was still perched up there... It must have been sleeping, but then it woke up and started wiggling again!! I slowly backed up, keeping my eyes on the feathered creature. When I was a safe distance, I ran into the kitchen again to tell Mommy. I pulled her by the hand out of the kitchen to come witness this black & purple mysterious feathered creature. But it was sleeping again. Mommy petted it and it didn't bite her her nose off or try to run away. So it must be a friendly....

742 Days Old
Time does fly. I can remember when gas was only $2.87 per gallon....
I turned two on May 25th. We celebrated on May 18th since my Granny was visiting me. I shared my day with Daddy. His birthday is just 5 days before mine. We had a ladybug cake, but Daddy didn't get his 34 candles this year...something about not wanting to melt the cake. I did have a big number "2" candle on top, though. I was excited to get big 2 year old toys.
A few days later, we all got on an airplane and flew to my birthplace, Hotlanta! My Aunt Cammie met us at the airport and took Granny and I home with her. Gramps met us the next day and we went home with him to Albany. My Daddy & Mommy flew somewhere for a get-away. I'm still not sure what they were "getting away" from....!?

Both Daddy and I were concerned about the black icing that stained my fingers.
